Amax International Holding, a shareholder in Greek Mythology, which runs a casino at the Beijing Imperial Palace Hotel, revealed that it is setting up a special working committee to reopen the hotel within the next six months… it could continue to operate its casino that closed on December 31, 2015, reportedly to undergo renovation works. Amax added that they are particularly interested in resuming the VIP business at the Greek Mythology casino.

The opening of Wynn Palace and Sands’ Parisian is expected to drive a faster market share shift from Peninsula to Cotai, says Morgan Stanley analysts.
Sands China held an event yesterday on the site of The Parisian’s replica of the Eiffel Tower. Wilfred Wong, president and chief operating officer of Sands China, updated the media on developments with the resort and company. Wong and other senior executives were present to formally pen the opening date of The Parisian Macao for September 13.
Sands China President Wilfred Wong Ying Wai said he hopes the government will give the company more gaming tables for The Parisian resort considering how much it has invested in the non-gaming elements there… The US$2.7 billion resort will have 3,000 rooms, 150 shops and 11 cafés and restaurants, a 1,200-seat theatre, meeting and exhibition facilities, a water park, and “a big casino”… “We’re in the process of applying [for gaming tables],” he said.

SBMA chair Roberto Garcia on Monday reportedly issued a cease-and-desist order to Frontier Wish International Ltd. (FWIL), operator of the Oriental Paradise Casino for refusing to heed freeport rules on revenue-sharing.

Although France Pari did not disclose the financial details of the deal, it did say in a statement that the acquisition is part of the European development strategy for its various activities.
